UniqBeyond was born out of a deeply personal journey and a passion for making a difference. Our founder, Olivia Mahdavi, has walked the path that many parents of children with autism know all too well.
A Personal Journey
When Olivia’s son was diagnosed with autism, she dedicated herself to providing him with the therapies and support he needed to thrive. Over the course of more than eight years, Olivia immersed herself in the world of autism support, learning everything she could about the various therapies, educational approaches, and support systems available. Her journey was filled with challenges, but also profound insights and victories.
From Personal Experience to Professional Expertise
Olivia’s hands-on experience with her son gave her a unique perspective and a deep understanding of what it takes to support a child with autism. She realised that many families were in need of personalised, empathetic, and effective support. This realisation inspired her to create UniqBeyond to share her experience and provide helpful advice to the individual needs of each child on the autism spectrum because it can be a very lonely place for a parent with limited experience.
